BIRTHDAY IN BRIGHTON
After his campervan/home was stolen last summer Tensheds headed south and took refuge next door to Nick Cave. It is here where he has locked himself away in a self emposed exile to work on his new album. But as all artists do, he soon found a good watering hole in the name of Northern Lights - a cool little Scandanavian bar in the Brighton Laines. After becoming a regular fixture it was only natural that sooner or later he would perform there, and on his birthday he will.

ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL 2013 BACK TO THE MUD
In 2012 Tensheds were the only band to actually arrive in time to play on that dreade first night of the festival- I'm sure you'll remember the headlines of bands stuck in mud, or worse still actually stranded on ferries. Well after jumping traffic jams, nearly getting crushed by falling porta-loos, finally with a police escort they arrived ready to rock an eager crowd. It even stopped raining. And so, in an unpresidented move by John Giddings Tensheds has been invited back again to play the festival.

SUMMER FESTIVALS
Well it's that time of year again folks when we're searching the internet for the coolest pair of wellies, a decent (but mostly a bargain) tent and then ultimately having to decide which of the many fields to go, fritter away the time and spend our hard earned cash. Well as always, Tensheds will be out there, sadly this year without his beloved campervan which he lived in for two years while touring 288 shows- but still in the mood to party!!
