Clockwork - The first official studio release from Tensheds. Clockwork is a collection of fifteen songs, which at first may seem rather indulgent, but the way the album transforms itself with the orchestration and mood changes often leaves you wondering whats next. The songs range from tender love songs to political protests, from bluesy to almost classical, and the lyrical content throughout is immense. All this results in a debut album that bravely, and to its credit, doesn't stick to any rules. That fact that Tensheds played every instrument (except cello and double bass) and produced this record himself shows if nothing else his belief in it.The result is a meaningful, evocative and emotional portrait that is sophisticated yet unrefined.
