Ten Pages

Time After Time

Shut away for six weeks in a disused barn in the north of England, Tensheds recorded this fifteen track album completely alone in a humble self built studio.

Playing all the instruments, as well as producing the record himself (due to financial reasons) means nothing is over done or orchestrated here, relying instead on the lyrics, melody and delivery; the basic aspects of the songs.

All this results in a sophisticated yet beautifully unrefined album.

After winning the Performing Rights Society UK Unsigned Award in 2008, Tensheds released ‘Save The Album’ at the famous Dingwalls in Camden.

Recorded over three days at Blueprint Studio’s in Manchester, this four track E.P delivers Tensheds with a full backing band and production for the first time. Not completely abandining the troubadour tag though, we are given two stripped back and lyrically direct songs.

‘Save The Album’ also features the song ‘That’s Where The Guns Are’, which won Tensheds the Northern Trax Award in 2009.
